Wood Pole NDT Division, Technoline Ltd, provide a unique, Reliability-Centred approach to support the Asset Management of wood-pole overhead line networks. The technology, structural analysis and asset management employed by Technoline allows for the reliable, life-extension of wood pole supported overhead lines, providing significant economic benefits to our clients.
This branch of IPEC Engineering was formed in 1997 to provide high-level services and products for field inspection, reliability assesssment and condition-based asset management of wood pole overhead lines. Over the last 4 years, in addition to working with a number of UK Utilities, Technoline have carried out projects with Southern California Edison (USA), Hydro Quebec (Canada) and Nordmore Energiverk AS (Norway). As a result of this International experience Technoline can provide products and services which apply industry Best Practice from a number of countries.
